Here's a behind-the-scenes look from the at-home Oscar party segment I did with Dee of No Worries Event Planning. We pulled this together quickly over the weekend, and had so much fun. It aired on Monday, February 20th and Tuesday, February 21st. I know the reporter Suzanne Marques through Twitter and LA Woman, and had a lot of fun showing her how to make arrangements inspired by this year's smash hit The Artist. Stay tuned for a how-to post about the flowers- so easy, you'll be shocked. I have to thank Kimberly Bragalone for doing an amazing job with my makeup. She really knows how to make me look good! I'm one of those people that makeup really does make a big difference for;) Caley Lawson, my friend and celebrity stylist, provided me with about 6 dress options, including a to-die-for D&G number. I went with this awesome Zac Posen dress. As I joked, when I'm asked, Who are you wearing? Suzanne will say, you're not actually going to the Oscars, you're showing how to create an Oscar party. Me getting the flowers ready. Filming our segment. Dee went first, and we showed all of the details. Then we took off the linens for the how-to demo. There's Kristine (well the back of her). You may recognize her from all of my crazy adventures. My right-hand gal so to speak. Here's Dee getting ready for her segment. Suzanne is doing a lighting test and as you can tell, Dee is gathering her thoughts. Action! A super funny moment after. We were hugging goodbye and Suzanne's necklace got caught on my mic. We got to know each other close... very close! We were stuck like that awkwardly for a minute. An overview of part of the table-scape. Stay tuned for Part 2 where I will show all of the details.
